The edges are slightly rounded to offer a good feel when being handles, while not impacting the presentation of the item inside. Each case also comes with discrete rubber feet, explicitly requested by Ozprey to avoid cases slipping on smooth surfaces or on top of each other. The feet are low-profile while ensuring the safety of your collection through stability. Finally, the lids are made micrometers larger than the case below to allow for easy removal while not impacting the overall aesthetic of the case which traditionally appear as grooves. A slightly larger than tight fit case (which creates some vacuum) combined with small magnets means your box inside is a secure as can be without using mechanical locking mechanisms.
